Nazanin Home Managing Your Mind

Today I am hugely grateful and incredibly happy to see this photo of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, reunited with her family after six years in captivity in Iran.

Why it took this length of time to secure her release and that of Anoosheh Ashoori is for another day.

Today is about celebration for two families and their loved ones.

Nazanin, Anoosheh and their families are inspiring to me as examples of what is possible when you manage your mind.

I do not doubt that both captives and their families have been through some incredibly dark days when their minds will have played the “worst-case” scenario movies.

Equally, they will have wanted to focus on what was possible… release… and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.

Choosing what they think about the last six years will have a huge impact on how they feel and their ability to recover and rebuild their lives.

Wishing both families many happy times ahead and that Nazanin and Anoosheh receive the support they will need to recover emotionally, physically, and mentally from their experience.

If you would like to know how your thoughts are influencing your feelings and emotions, then lets talk.

Are You Procrastinating More And More?

It could be social media, making a coffee, phoning a friend, doing ‘busy’ or ‘easy’ jobs. In over 30 years of coaching, I have come across every procrastination strategy I think there is. Every client I have worked with procrastinates at some point. While some learn to handle it, others can become paralysed by it and You don’t have to be that person.

The good news is that I have created a short video series that will give you some relief straight away.
