Carol Dweck Mindset

Mindset is an incredibly popular word at the moment.

“I need/you need/we need to get our mindset right”.

I prefer to call the process mind management, though that is for another post.

Who hasn’t heard or uttered one of these phrases recently?

I think most people reading this post understand the huge value of having a positive approach, managing our thoughts, and keeping our ‘mental estate’ healthy.

Excuse the pun, and if you want to get your head around mindset based on facts, this book is a must-read.

World-renowned Stanford University psychologist Dr Carol Dweck has carried out extensive research on achievement and success and was one of the first authors to dig deep into the power of our mindset.

This book is a few years old now, and the content is still gold.

Dr Dweck explains why it’s not just our abilities and talent that bring success but whether we approach our goals with a fixed or growth mindset.

With the right mindset, we can reach our own goals, both personal and professional.

Carol Dweck is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading researchers in the fields of personality, social psychology, and developmental psychology.

Her work has been featured in the New York Times and the Washington Post.
